1. What is your character's secret dream? What one goal, ambition or desire does she keep hidden from others, and why? What would she do to achieve it? Thomas' ambition is actually rather simple, he wishes to be acknowledged and seen as someone who is worth something.
• Write a list of your character's top five lifetime achievement goals.
1. To turn the castle around,
2. To make good, lasting friends
3. Stop being so passive
4. Try to establish a relationship with father
5. Travel to several different regions within his lifetime
• Starting at age 15, write down one major goal for each five years of your character's life until her current age. Turn Budehuc into a striving, and successful marketplace.
2. What is your character's worst fear? How far would she go to avoid it? Thomas is a situational acrophobic, He's fine at most heights as long as there's a solid base of support under his feet. Tall buildings, mountains? Fine. But he can't stand free-standing staircases, trees, and ladders. He refuses to climb any of those - even shoving him up the ladder and using a pin will not make him go up the ladder/tree/platform/staircase.
